The APC Back-UPS BE550G-AZ is a 550VA/330W standby UPS designed to keep desktop PCs and other office equipment running through short outages while shielding them from surges and spikes. It plugs into 230V/10A mains and feeds eight Australian outlets, reserving battery backup for the equipment that needs it most while still providing surge protection to less critical peripherals. Power is stored in a user-replaceable lead-acid battery (replacement part APCRBC110), and the unit is desktop-sited rather than rack-mounted, with a 1.83m output cable for flexible placement. It carries a 24-month warranty.
