The APC Back-UPS ES 700VA/405W (BE700G-AZ) is a compact desktop UPS offering eight Australian outlets, four with battery backup and four surge-only, suited to protecting wireless networks, gaming consoles and similar electronics from outages, surges and voltage fluctuations. It delivers roughly 30 minutes of runtime at a 100W load, a 310-joule surge rating, and RJ45 data-line protection for phone, fax, modem or DSL connections, running from a 230V/10A input via a 1.83m cord. The lead-acid battery is user-replaceable (RBC17 replacement, BATT17-1209 compatible), and the unit is backed by APC's lifetime equipment protection policy of up to $150,000 AUD plus a 2-year warranty.
