The APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500GI is a 1500VA/865W line-interactive tower UPS aimed at protecting high-performance desktops, routers, external storage and other business or home-office electronics from outages and disturbances. It offers 12 outlets in total, split between battery-backed and surge-only IEC C13-style sockets plus two IEC jumper connections, switching over in a typical 10ms (12ms maximum) via built-in AVR, and reports status through an LCD with audible alarms. At a full 865W load it provides around five minutes of runtime. The unit isn't rack-mountable, uses a user-replaceable lead-acid battery (APCRBC124 or BR24BPG), and comes with a 24-month warranty.
