The APC Smart-UPS X SMX120RMBP2U is an external 120V DC battery pack that plugs into a compatible Smart-UPS X unit to extend runtime for connected equipment during an outage, with the UPS's intelligent battery management and precision charging keeping performance and battery life optimised. Housed in a 2U enclosed cartridge, it mounts below the UPS in a rack or stands alongside it in tower configuration, and multiple packs can be added as more runtime is needed. It uses ten lead-acid battery blocks per string (replacement battery APCRBC118), is compatible with the AP9625 and AR201 mounting kits, and ships with an installation guide and rack-mounting brackets. Backed by a 24-month warranty.
