The TP-Link MC100CM is a 10/100Mbps media converter that bridges RJ45 copper Ethernet to 100Base-FX multi-mode fibre via an SC connector, extending network runs up to 2km. Built to IEEE 802.3u and 802.3x standards, it operates at 1310nm, offers switchable half/full-duplex on the fibre port, auto MDI/MDI-X on the copper port, and includes link fault passthrough and far-end fault detection to flag link failures quickly. It can run stand-alone or mounted in TP-Link's 19-inch chassis system, making it a flexible way to extend an Ethernet network over fibre. It's backed by a 3-year warranty.
